www.svp.co.uk Ltd is a genuine company. The correct email-domain is @svp.co.uk

The fake company/fraude uses the email address am@svpltd.org.uk and the phone number phone: +44 7404955381 (Mr. Andrew Meikle)

We have contacted the police and need all the information we can get on the frauds so please forward any mails you might have gotten from am@svpltd.org.uk

Andrew of SVP also assures me he never asks for prepayment this opposite to the fake company/fraud.(genuine contact: andrew@svpmail.co.uk)

Dear EBM Group Members,

Terry Maguire from CRS UK asked us to forward this message to you I think the subject is interesting for all our members not only the UK members.

“The UK government is in the process of developing a quality standard covering the refurbishment of used electrical and electronic equipment. The purpose is to stimulate demand for second user equipment by providing confidence to potential buyers that the products are safe and functioning correctly.

Additionally the standard would be used at ports to prevent the export of equipment for sham reuse i.e. the equipment is untested and is really going to be recycled. There has some interest expressed also by the EU Commission which suggests the standard might be adopted by other member states.

The UK Government has reached the stage when they have asked the British Standards Institute to start drafting a document and now is the time for business and other stakeholders to give their opinion.

Although currently this consultation process is aimed at the UK only there is no reason why stakeholders in other EU states should not give their ideas.

As an example of what is being proposed any exported goods would need to be accompanied by a report that shows the contact details of the organization that has tested the equipment and the results of those tests.

Please watch out for RTS Technology, a Fraud is hiding behind this company

Dear TBS members,

I have received a complaint from one of our German members they did a deal with the following company:

Our German member sent this company payment but never received any goods or got any feedback after sending the payment.

After investigating this I found that there is a Fraud (Alex) hiding behind the real company RTS. Alex uses the RTS website, address and so on but uses a different email address, different mobile phone and different bank account. So when people think they are dealing with RTS they are actually dealing with the Fraud.

To avoid problems like this always check and double check. Make sure companies use the same email address and phone numbers as mentioned on their website. When in doubt you can always contact www.TheBrokerSite.com and we will be able to help you investigate.

We have now sold 200 of the 300 places for the European Broker Meeting 2010 on the 11&12 of November at the Tivoli Hotel & Conference Center in Lisbon Portugal!

Attendance fee for the EBM is 475 Euro when booked and paid before the 1st of September and 550 Euro when paid after that date. Special price for the hotel rooms is 95 Euro for a single and 105 Euro for a double. Please note only members of www.TheBrokerSite.com are invited to join the EBM!
