www.TheBrokerSite.com is tested with Internet Explorer 6 and higher, FireFox 4 and higher, all versions of Google Chrome and Safari 4 and higher and should work without problems using the default settings for these browsers.

However, should you have any problems logging in, please consider the following:

1. Firefox 8 has possible security settings that could prevent the login. These settings are usually setup by your network administrator, because the default settings pose no problem for the TBS website.

2. JavaScript settings may prevent the login from executing properly.

3. Cookies are not allowed / enabled in your browser

Please check that all JavaScript is enabled in the browser, and that the security settings (if your company policy allows this) are not set too high.
Also make sure that cookies are allowed by your browser.

The service launched on June 28, 2011 in an invite-only “field testing” phase. www.TheBrokerSite.com is currently testing the new platform and adding some information in its Profile. We have tested the new system for a long time but we could not test it with 1000 users so please see this as a test period.

Over the years, many of our members have asked why we don’t offer escrow services for them. I think using escrow services is a good idea but I don’t think TBS should offer it as we will lose our independence when we start getting involved in the payments of your transactions. I do want to recommend to you the use of Escrow.com.

Escrow.com reduces the potential risk of fraud by acting as a trusted third party that collects, holds and disburses funds according to Buyer and Seller instructions. Escrow.com services are provided by a licensed and regulated escrow company. The past weeks I have been talking to this company and I think they provide a very good service which could help our members too. I only see one disadvantage and that is that they only offer the service for USD transactions but they want to offer EURO transactions in the future too.
